Nuns here have done service, often alone and in other countries. They need a place to live – to uphold the Buddhist teachings, preserve monastic traditions and serve the wider community with warmth and dedication. And they need to leave a nunnery for generations of new nuns to come. Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche wanted accomodation that is suitable for the times, the culture and where nuns could live happily in community.
